Ukrainian Heritage Consortium of North America

The Ukrainian Heritage Consortium of North America is a collective of Ukrainian American and Ukrainian Canadian museums, archives, and libraries whose individual missions are to preserve and protect our collective Ukrainian heritage in North America. The Ukrainian Heritage Consortium of North America has been meeting regularly since Cleveland’s Ukrainian Museum-Archives organized the inaugural conference in 2011.

Union of Artists

The Soviet Lithuanian Union of Artists was an influential cultural organisation made up of local artists. It was established in 1940, and reestablished with the second Soviet occupation in 1944. The Union of Artists was formed within the framework of the USSR Union of Artists.

Union of Theatre Producers in the GDR

The union was founded in 1966 in East Berlin, as an association for artists and scientists who were active within theatres and theatre research. The union facilitated collaboration between the state and organisations in the field of culture, supported the exchange programmes between theatre staff, and provided professional and youth training.

The union included five sections and numerous working groups, such as theatre science, theatre critique and stage design. Financially the union was supported by the state and member dues.

The union was dismantled at the end of 1990 following the reunification.
