Integration into the Museum of Fine Arts

After years of uncertain funding, the situation of Artpool Art Research Center was finally settled. The archive material of Artpool was made part of the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in November 2015. According to plan, the collection compiled by Júlia Klaniczay and György Galántai will form part of the Central European Research Institute for Art History (KEMKI), to be set up within the framework of the Liget Budapest Project in the National Museum Restoration and Storage Centre (OMRRK) in 2018. The earliest section of the Artpool collection, created between 1965 and 1991, entered state ownership thanks to the Hungarian National Bank’s (MNB) Depository Programme. The material accumulated since 1992 was given by the founders to the Museum.

Online exhibition tour

Božidar Mandić spoke about his work and ideas on a panel discussion that followed the opening of the exhibition in MCAV. Subsequently, the curator and author of the exhibition, Nebojša Milenković, and Mandić guided a professional exhibition tour, which can be seen on the YouTube channel of SEEcult, an online platform dedicated to culture in Southeast Europe.

Conferences "Petar Danov, the Master, in the Cultural Space of Bulgaria"

In 2015 the White Brotherhood – Bulgaria organized the First National Conference "Peter Danov, the Master, in the Cultural Space of Bulgaria". Because of the great interest, the initiative grows in a series of meetings devoted to Peter Danov organized each year in September in the city of Varna. Hristo Vatev presented his e-library at the Second and Third Conferences in 2016 and 2017 with contributions on “the modern methods of distribution of the beliefs of Master Peter Danov”.

The Fourth Conference of the same name was held in September 2018. The conferences bring together researchers from various disciplines – religion, literature and literary history, history, archival, and documentary studies, political science, culture, pedagogy, etc. They include university and school lecturers as well as Ph.D. students, esoteric researchers, writers, poets, musicians, psychologists and others.

Donation of documents of István Bakos to the Research Institute and Archives for the Hungarian Regime Change

In 2015, István Bakos donated part of his document collection (3 archival boxes) to the Research Institute and Archives for the History of the Hungarian Regime Change.

Donation of material of the Gypsy research (1971) to the Voices Archive (2015)

In 2015, sociologist Gábor Havas, who collected the documents of the 1971 Roma research project, donated the collection to the Voices of the 20^th Century Archive and Research Group. The material is now researchable as “István Kemény's collection.”
