Film: Otvoreni dosieta. Part 1: Petko Ogoyski [Opened dossiers. Part 1: Petko Ogoyski]
The Bulgarian National Television in 2014 started a documentary film-series entitled “Open Dossiers”, dir. Hristo Hristov, on the persons who were persecuted and prosecuted by the communists. The first documentary was devoted to Petko Ogoyski. The film was made on the basis of a film script of the journalist Hristo Hristov. Petko Ogoyski was featured as the main character, telling the history of communism through his personal life. The film was also screened in the former forced labour camps on the Danube island Persin and in the town of Lovetch, as well as in the house and collection of Petko Ogoyski, from which materials were presented and discussed. The film is often used by academic teachers in their lectures on the history of communism.
