Acquisition of Rudolf Lesňák's Hereditaments
Rudolf Lesňák (11 September 1928 to 7 October 2006): literary scientist and writer, after 1989 he was an important person in the Catholic Church and religious broadcasting of Slovak Radio. In his youth he worked in Czechoslovak Radio as head of the literary editorial office. In 1970 he had to leave the radio because of political reasons. His most famous works include Underground Pages (1998), a collection of Christian samizdat journalism in Slovakia in the years 1945 to 1989.
After his death, the literary settlement was initially acquired by the Matica slovenská, but in 2009 it was passed to the Institute of the Memory of the Nation. His texts were present in the media particularly in 2006, when he died.
