Donation of the Krunoslav Draganović Collection to the Croatian State Archives
The original creator of the collection, Krunoslav Draganović, was not its donor. After the first acquisition in July 1999, when the Commission on Establishment of Wartime and Post-war Victims handed over the collection to the Croatian State Archives, Mr. Ante Beljo donated almost identical materials (duplicates) to the CSA in 2001. Ante Beljo had previously served as the president of the Croatian Heritage Foundation. Beljo came into possession of the collection in 1986. Beljo’s donation also included copies. As a Croatian emigrant, Beljo was interested in collecting and publishing the materials from the collection.
