One of the most valuable part of this Archive are the original press clippings, that Fr. Wiesław Niewęgłowski has been collecting since the very first event of the Weeks of Christian Culture in 1975. It is much more than just newspaper cut-outs. The collection includes also: underground publications, events' programmes, archival photographs, critiques, reports on exhibitions' content, etc. - everything with Niewęgłowski's written commentaries, which include some views on the events' outcome and attention it attracted. It is a unique source of knowledge about cultural activities of Artists' Priesthood and the content of events organised during the Weeks of Christian Culture. It gives insight to the objectives and hopes associated with those events, as well as their real impact and trajectories in the 1970s and 1980s.
Unfortunately, this exquisite source of knowledge is currently neglected due to the lack of funding and organisational possibilities. Hopefully, thanks to the Courage project, the Press Clippings of the Weeks of Christian Culture will get some attention.
