She graduated from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw with the specialization in Theatre Studies. 
From the beginning of her professional career, she has been involved in documenting and archiving the activities of the Polish theatres and performance groups. From 1997 she directed the Theatre Documentation Department of the Theatre Institute – firstly affiliated with the Polish Actors’ Union, then with Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute. An initiator of founding the Archive of Alternative Theatre in the same institution. 
An author of various books and articles about the Polish contemporary theatre scene. 
From 2014 a director of the Zbigniew Raszewski Institute.
