Archives of the Republic of Slovenia
The Archives of the Republic of Slovenia is an institution within the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, hence it has regular and well-established contacts with political decision makers. Archivists cooperate as experts in the preparation of legislation and recommendations on the protection, preservation and handling of documentary and archival materials. The Archives is the leading partner in the creation of an online accessible database on the Slovenian archives (Query - http://arsq.gov.si/Query/suchinfo.aspx), and in the recent period, it has dedicated much attention to the issue of digitization of materials (the e-ARS project.si).
