Art of Exchange was the widest selection of the Exchange Gallery’s collection. The exhibition co-organized by Profile Foundation and Wilanów Palace Museum was the fourth installment in the Latent Capital series, showing leading private collections of modern and contemporary art. The presentation was to expose private art collections, to highlight their role as a visual narrative about the history of art different from the points of view proposed by official institutions. Besides the iconic works of twentieth-century avant-garde – paintings, sculpture, drawings, photos, objects – the exhibition showed ethnographic artifacts and flea-market curiosities hoarded by Robakowski. The event included also film screenings centered around avant-garde films, video art, and performance art. The exhibition catalog presented a large selection of the collection.
