The most important change in the history of the collection was brought by the digitalization process, which started in 2009 and lasts till today. Thanks to the support granted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education it was possible to digitalize all of the audio recordings, as well as a significant part of printed documents and manuscripts. The digitalized materials are partially available in the digital library launched in the KARTA Centre.
