Acquisition of the Shoah Foundation's Oral History Archive
In 2012, with the cooperation with the Charles University in Prague, the Oral History Archive of KARTA Foundation and History Meeting House obtained the access to the largest Shoah Archive in the world - the Visual History Archive of the survivors from the Shoah Visual History Foundation. The Archive, also called "The Spielberg Archive", was established in 1994 by Steven Spielberg consists of 52 000 oral and video testimonies (120 000 hours of recordings) of Holocaust survivors and witnesses from all over the world (56 countries and 32 languages). In the VHA, approximately 1500 interviews are in Polish.
