New venue of the Anarchist Library, 2001
The collection of Poznan Anarchist Library was moved to another location at the beginning of the 2000s due to renovations and adaptations, systematically done by the Rozbrat collective in post-industrial buildings of the squatted area. It was a very important event, since it provided minimal working conditions for the librarians. In a new place the collection was thematically and chronologically organized. The library was strictly separated from the archive which gathers contemporary documentation on anarchist movement. The library is still in the same location, however it is becoming too small for the growing collection of books, magazines and documents.
